1. Selection Process Overview
The recruitment is conducted in three distinct stages:

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & PST: Qualifying in nature (Running and body measurements).

Written Examination: Objective Type (MCQs).

Computer Proficiency Test (CPT): Practical exam to test computer skills.
2. Detailed Written Exam Pattern
The written exam consists of 150 Marks to be completed in 2 Hours. It is divided into five parts:

A. Technical Subjects (60 Marks)
This is the most critical section. It covers topics from Electronics, Communication, and IT:

Electronic Devices: P-N Junction, Zener Diode, BJT, JFET, MOSFET, LED.

Digital Circuits: Boolean Algebra, Logic Gates, Flip-Flops, Counters.

Computer Networks: OSI Model, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Network Security, Firewalls.

Communication Engineering: AM, FM, PM, Pulse Modulation, Digital Communication.

Microprocessors: 8085 Architecture, Programming, and 8051 Microcontrollers.
